This position is part of the WAPA-DSW-Desert Southwest. As a Program Manager (Protection and Communication Maintenance), you will be responsible for supervising two subordinate supervisors and for formulating, executing, planning, maintenance, replacement, and rehabilitation of protection, automation, and communication facilities.
**This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at the duty location identified. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses are authorized.**
Duties
Incumbent serves as the Manager of the Protection and Communications Engineering and Maintenance division for the Desert Southwest Region (DSW) of Western Area Power Administration (WAPA). The manager is responsible for supervising two subordinate supervisors and for formulating, executing, planning, and coordinating the engineering, maintenance, replacement, and rehabilitation of protection, automation, and communication facilities as well as the administration of those functions in associated power contracts.
