We are seeking a Senior level Engineering, Design and QC professional to lead and manage team in execution of Electrical Utility Transmission and Distribution system hardening and expansion efforts in our San Diego, Office
The Senior Engineering lead is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality review of engineering and design work product by internal and third party firms in support of program, support team development, maintaining and application of design standards, developing strong relationships with client team including PMO Leads, Project & Construction Managers, Engineering and Engineering personnel ensuring all program goals and objectives met within target dates and budget. The incumbent must lead team of engineering and design personnel in all activities relating to the QC review and coordination of third party design, permit support, materials integration and KPI tracking Also work with Team PMO leadership to create and or modify existing work practices, establish team budgets, validate and manage engineering resources update, and create internal standards, including construction, design, and materials for both existing programs and future emerging business.
This is a front line leadership position. The successful candidate will be able to communicate clear expectations, goals, and vision; manage the performance of direct reports; motivate, coach and mentor skilled professionals and delegate project work. Must be capable to manage collaboration and conflict resolution to achieve successful results. It is expected that the successful candidate will practice behaviors supporting diversity and inclusion.
