About DCSProgram and Project Management

Job responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support to the Facilities Planning and Construction (FPC) department for a large Public Client.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the clients technology programs, including e-rate, data center, i21 interactive boards and wireless implementation projects.

  • Review and comment on electrical documents for modernization and new construction projects.

  • Update and develop electrical standards and guide specifications (Div. 26, 27 and 28) for client.

  • Assist construction managers with change order negotiations and resolution of electrical code related issues.

  • Manage photovoltaic solar projects for Physical Plant Operations (PPO) for client.

  • Include review of design documents for code compliance, constructability, and alignment with the clients design standards and specifications.

  • Provide guidance and assistance with scoping and developing of preventative maintenance program for medium voltage distribution systems at various client sites.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 10 years' experience in providing electrical engineering support

  • Professional License
