Job responsibilities include:

+ Carry out PLC programming and hardware implementation, provide technical direction and support to technician and maintenance staff
+ Lead installation of automation upgrades and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment
+ Oversee building automation system (BAS); editing, expansion and servicing
+ Oversee/carryout electronic and electromechanical repairs and improvements on manufacturing equipment, in particular inverter power supplies
+ Partner with fellow engineers to identify and implement solutions for process reliability both in automation and power distribution

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ BSEE or BSEET is required
+ Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Hands on knowledge of PLC programming and hardware implementation

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Siemens PLC platform is preferred; others will be considered
+ Experience in the design and configuration of electrical power distribution including UPS hardware is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is a plus

Salary Range: $67,500.00 - $101,300.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
