Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (Kelly OCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an ESU Service Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Draper, UT.  This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position.  As a Kelly OCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from.   You’ll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.  All Kelly OCG employees receive annual performance reviews. 

Summary:  Performs electromechanical assembly, manufacturing and is responsible for the quality established for the units produced. The technician is responsible for maintaining a high level of integrity and company commitment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reads parts drawings and or job work orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, test equipment and determines sequence of operational steps.
Reads and understands schematics, diagrams and engineering test protocols.
Determines fabrication requirements. Examines parts for defects and determines proper plan of action.
Align, fit and assemble component parts into completed units using specified hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment templates and fixtures.
Verifies parts list against the inventory in the work area to ensure accuracy.
Performs testing using equipment such as, oscilloscopes, meters and computers. Interprets test data. Adjusts unit to meet calibration standards
Monitors and maintains the integrity of the equipment as it pertains to our in-house quality standards.
Maintains process data for improvements and offers recommendations to processes where applicable.

Education and or Experience:

Associates degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school: A minimum of 2 years technical experience in electronic environment: Military experience acceptable.

Physical Demands:  The physical demands listed below are a representative indication of those movements required to effectively perform this job with satisfactory results.

While performing this job an individual may be required to lift up to 35 pounds with arms occasionally and lift up to 20 regularly throughout their respective shift. A maximum lift could be 50 pounds but rarely. The individuals should have good eye sight and solid hand to eye coordination.

Peripheral, close and magnified vision is all requirements.

While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly exposed to mechanical, electrical and moving parts. Electricity, electrical components and tooling of all sorts.  The noise level in the work area is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations will be made for those who have disabilities
