Job Description
AECOM is seeking qualified and motivated On-Site Representatives to oversee projects that are part of the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow (SWIFT) Program located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
The qualified applicant will have experience implementing large water/wastewater engineering projects, collaborative project delivery and be familiar with the design, construction and operation of water, wastewater and/or water reuse treatment and conveyance infrastructure. This on-site position involves working in an a fast-paced work environment at an active treatment facility. The candidate will work to build a cooperative partnership between client, contractors, and all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of project issues and the overall success of the project.
The successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively with project team members and across multiple organizations, have a high level of initiative and motivation to deliver quality results, have strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to provide value-added solutions and maintain strong relationships in a collaborative delivery environment acting as the Owners Site Representative.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
As an essential contributor to the SWIFT Program Management team, you would possess the following
Bachelors Degree in construction or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering field, and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Possess Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
Demonstrate eight (8) years of progressively challenging experience on major construction projects providing Construction Management or Construction Administration/Construction Inspection services.
Demonstrate experience with both design-bid-build and collaborative delivery platforms at treatment plants with capacities greater than 30 mgd OR treatment projects in excess of $100 million.
Demonstrate experience troubleshooting complex project related problems.
Demonstrate capability to review contractor construction schedules as a means of monitoring work progress.
Proven working knowledge of construction scheduling
Valid Drivers License.
Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certificate
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications :
10+ years of relevant experience, with over 5 years of demonstrated field experience is highly preferred.
Advanced Degree in Engineering or Management
Proficient with MS Office software platform.
Proven as excellent leader with exceptional interpersonal skills including excellent oral and written communication skills. Expected to communicate regularly with stakeholders, in writing, one-on-one, and in meetings
Experience with Project Management Information System (PMIS) and Construction Management Information System (CMIS) software applications and processes.
Proven working knowledge of construction scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6 platform.
Experience working in/for municipal agencies or utility infrastructure organizations.
Ability to respond proactively in a high-paced environment
