Electrical Technician
$34-$37/hr DOE
Shifts :
M-F 3p-11p overtime and weekends as needed (All shifts need to be flexible on 1st shift)
M-F 11p-7a overtime and weekends as needed

SUMMARY:
Maintain machinery and equipment, concentrating on electrical systems to ensure OEM quality and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform duties of Industrial Maintenance Electro-Mechanic Tech ‘A’.
- PLC, Drives and Computer documentation and maintenance including contractor interface.
- Electrical projects including contractor interface.
- JDE training and oversight.
- Parts Room inventory control.
- Management of equipment documentation.
- Department IT coordinator.
- Oversight of high level electrical troubleshooting.
- Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations contributing to overall safety of the Plant.
- Exhibit Smurfit Westrock Culture in all facets of the job.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED; some college or training in a technical field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficient in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Excellent general math skills
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to trouble shoot, schedule and plan maintenance.
