Manage the development and execution of marketing and customer education plans (e.g., for energy efficiency, demand response, programmatic and other marketing initiatives). Objectives include building customer awareness, trust, engagement, as well as increasing customer participation. Oversee and implement digital marketing strategy including social media, email and website management, ensuring an integrated approach across all customer touchpoints. Implement AI technologies to enhance personalization, automation and data-driven decision making. Develop and execute on strategic customer engagement plans across multiple channels including social media, digital, email, direct mail, and other advertising channels. Partner with stakeholder groups to communicate initiatives and influence outcomes. Manage relationships with agencies and vendors to execute plans and accomplish objectives. Foster a team culture that prioritizes growth, development, and collaboration while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Establish, promote, and maintain a safe work environment. Leverage insights, data, and emerging technologies to identify potential new products and services and enhance customer engagement.

Primary Duties
  • Manage the strategic planning, development and execution of customer awareness, engagement and education plans for Energy Efficiency and Beneficial Electrification programs with a focus on digital marketing, including social media, email, and website strategy
  • Lead and manage a team and oversee the development and execution of marketing plans for related products and services, incorporating AI technologies to enhance efficiency, personalization, and data-driven decision-making
  • Leverage strategic marketing research initiatives and data insights to support marketing efforts, optimize engagement strategies and measure success
  • Create and sustain an environment that fosters corporate values, promotes innovation, and encourages professional growth within the team
  • Drive continuous professional growth and productivity of employees through the Performance Management Process emphasizing collaboration and emerging marketing technologies. Counsel, develop, direct, evaluate and mentor employees, fostering a culture of learning, inclusion, and adaptability to evolving marketing trends
Job Scope

Work across multiple departments continuously including, Energy Efficiency, T&D, Customer Operations, External Affairs, Regulatory and Legislative affairs to align marketing efforts with business objectives Frequently lead meetings with executives to socialize plans and review results and provide insights on digital marketing performance, AI-driven efficiencies, and customer engagement strategies. Lead groups of 5-8 FTES fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration in marketing execution. Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budgets optimizing spend across digital, traditional, and AI-enhanced marketing initiatives. Partner with numerous stakeholder groups to influence outcomes, enhance relationships and drive strategic marketing alignment. Work with multiple vendors to execute marketing plans, integrating AI and digital marketing advancements for enhanced performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or other relevant discipline or equivalent. Ten or more years of energy efficiency and/or utility marketing experience or equivalent. Strong leadership and strategic development skills. Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience building and managing relationships with stakeholders. Excellent editing skills. Experience working with data analytics in design of marketing plans. Demonstrated ability to work within established budgets and deliver promised results. Ability to communicate with and direct a wide variety of professionals ranging from engineers to marketing experts is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or other relevant discipline.

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $138,400.00/Yr. – $190,300.00/Yr. plus an additional $25K in Long Term Incentive Plan annually.
